Heritage Christian Academy’s bid for their first KCAA softball state title in two years was snuffed out by top seed North Hardin in a 10-3 loss in Georgetown. The Lady Warriors had advanced to the title game with a 24-0 win over Cornerstone Christian in the semifinals Friday but found runs harder to come by Saturday.
HCA’s weather-abbreviated season came to an end with a record of 5-3. HCA players Katie Ruth, Nicole Holland, and Arianna Brown were named KCAA to the All-State Team, while Holland and Brown were named to the KCAA All-Tournament Team.
