With the preseason rapidly approaching, it was an important step for the Tennessee Titans. The team announced Saturday that they had reached a contract agreement with 1st Round pick Corey Davis. The announcement means that the Titans have now signed contracts with all nine of their 2017 draft picks.
Davis caught 97 balls for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns last season at Western Michigan. His 5,285 career receiving yards is an FBS record, and he ranks second in NCAA history in career receiving touchdowns with 52. The 6-foot-3, 209-pound Davis was limited at the start of offseason workouts as he recovered from an ankle injury, but his workload increased throughout the offseason. He was turned loose in the team’s minicamp, and looked good.
