In the 4th District, 13th Region, Todd County Central Coach Elizabeth Bailey enters her first season with the team, after taking over from previous coach, Josh Watkins. Bailey comes to Elkton from Buffalo, New York but has family in Todd County. She inherits a team coming off a 4-16 record, with a 3-7 regional mark and 3-5 in the district. The Rebels scored 49 goals and allowed 88, and finished their season with a 4-1 loss to Logan County in the first round of the 4th District tournament. The loss marked the third straight year Todd County have missed the 13th Region tournament, since a 2013 run to the regional semifinals.
Coach Bailey will be looking for reinforcements after eleven seniors graduated, including leading scorers Kyle Harris and Dylan Eddleman, who recorded 21 goals and 9 assists and 14 goals and 6 assists, respectively. The Rebels open their season August 15th at Hopkins County Central. Todd County dropped two matches to the Storm last season, including the season opener 3-1 in Elkton. No regular season tournaments are on the schedule for 2017.
