Freshman Grayson Thomas shot a 43 Thursday to lead Trigg County past Dawson Springs by 41 shots at Pennyrile Forest State Park. Thomas’ round consisted of seven bogeys and two pars as he beat teammates Hunter Reynolds and Caleb Federspiel by five shots. Darrin Goodwin added a 49 for Trigg County.
Addison Whalen and Trey Blanchard each shot a 55 to lead Dawson Springs.
Trigg County’s Alex Ethridge shot a 45 to claim medalist honors for the ladies. Her round included three pars.
Dawson Springs will host their invitational Saturday at Pennyrile Forest State Park. Trigg County will be among the many teams there.
