Monday’s boys’ soccer season opener between Christian County and University Heights will have extra meaning for the Eighth District rivals as the winner gets an early leg up in the district standings.
It marks the 11th straight season the schools have met in the season opener. The Blazers are 5-4-1 in those ten games, but the Colonels have won the last three straight.
