The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers (3-0) scored early and often on the way to a 10-0 mercy rule victory over the Lady Falcons of Fort Campbell (0-3). UHA, ranked second in the YourSportsEdge.com girls’ soccer rankings, spread the goals around with six different players scoring. Junior midfielder Lilly Strader led the way with a hat trick, while senior defender Alli Cundiff and freshman Kate Cansler added two goals each. Junior forward Alex Juckett also got on the board as did Emerson Barlow and Ashlyn Parker. Cansler also had two assists, and Sarah Covington added one helper.
Lainey Burman only had one save in goal for UHA, but it came on a Fort Campbell penalty kick.
The Lady Blazers will look to defend their 2nd Region All “A” Championship on Thursday when they match up with the Lyon County Lady Lyons (1-3), 2-1 semifinal winners over Crittenden County (0-2) at Butler Stadium in Princeton.
