UHA notched their second straight shutout due to the strong play at midfield and the defense led by Hancock, Taylor Rogers, Grace Pape, and Victoria Sisk.
Goalie Lainey Burman didn’t see much action in goal, but was able to help the defense control the field when Lyon was able to advance past midfield.
UHA will host Murray in the All-A Sectionals tentatively set for September 9. Murray won the First Region title 9-0 over St. Mary Thursday. UHA will be looking for their first trip to the All-A Classic State Tournament since 2013.
