Despite a plethora of injuries that have sidelined several starters, Heritage Christian Academy nearly claimed their first victory of the season before falling to North Hardin Christian 5-3 Thursday.  HCA played without starting goalie Kameron Cunningham and Lawson Ashby. Thomas West continued his hot start with three more goals for the Warriors. The junior has eight goals in five games.

“I continue to reinforce to the team that we are young and we are learning as we go,” HCA Head Coach Tony Henson said. “We are really seeing some good minutes out of our young kids, and I just hope they continue to play hard and don’t get discouraged.”

HCA (0-4-1) looks for their first win Saturday at Immaculata Christian.
