The preseason honors continue to roll in for Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White. The senior QB has been noted on the Reese’s Senior Bowl 2018 Watch List. White is one of 23 quarterbacks on the list and one of 10 overall players from Conference USA.
Last season, White ranked in the top 10 nationally in completion percentage (67.3, eighth), passing yards (4,363, fifth) and touchdowns (37, eighth), while boasting the third-best passer rating (181.4) and the second-best yards per attempt mark (10.5). He earned C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honors for a 517-yard performance in a Week 1 victory vs. Rice, and was recognized for his year-long success when he was named the league’s Newcomer of the Year.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl 2018 Watch List includes 401 student-athletes from nearly every level of college football who are looking to fill the 110 roster spots that form the North and South squads for the nation’s premier all-star game. A player not on the initial list can be added to the watch list during the season. Therefore, White and any other senior Hilltopper is eligible to be invited to the 69th annual game, which will take place January 28, 2018 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
