The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers continue to pick up some momentum on the volleyball court. Friday night, they made it back to back wins, as they defeated Todd County Central in straight sets.
UHA won the first set in a tough battle 25-21. The Lady Blazers got things rolling along in the second set, on their way to a 25-13 win. The Lady Rebels tried to battle back in the third set, before the Lady Blazers prevailed 25-20.
Naliscya Hall had five kills for the Lady Blazers, while Rachel Snyder, Lily Hendricks, and Ann Marie Fitzpatrick added three kills. Hendricks also had five of UHA’s nine aces on the night.
Todd County won the JV match 21-19, 21-18.
With the with, UHA now goes to 3-2 on the season, while Todd County Central fell to 0-4.
