
Trigg County’s Tiffany Shafer scored 10 goals as a junior last year. However, her speed and ball control precipitated the move to defender. While the switch has been a major adjustment for the senior, she is settling in and has been part of a defensive unit that has not allowed a goal to be scored on them in two games (penalty kicks excluded). Shafer talked to us about the change and her learning curve.
