The Caldwell County girls’ soccer team moved to 4-2 with a 7-0 win over St. Mary (4-4) in Paducah Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers remain 4th in the YourSportsEdge.com Second Region rankings, following a brutal stretch when they faced (2) University Heights Academy, (1) Henderson County, and Apollo in the span of a week.
Junior Laney Fletcher led the way with a hat trick, joined by sophomore Lucy Goffinet with 2 goals. Sophomore Becca Siebert and senior Taely Freeman added a goal each to round out the scoring. Goffinet also had 2 assists, with Fletcher, Freeman, and senior Mackenzie Smiley assisting on 1 each.
The Lady Tigers will host Graves County (1-2) on Thursday at Butler Stadium.
