The Trigg County girls’ soccer team, ranked 7th in the YourSportsEdge.com Second Region rankings, picked up their third straight win, evening their record at 3-3. The loss leaves 9th ranked Union County at 5-2 on the season.
Lady Wildcats senior Alyssa Richardson stayed hot, scoring 2 goals to give her 10 during the winning streak. Juniors Brittany Kelly and Madisen Ireland also added 2 goals each.
Trigg County returns to action August 31st when they travel to Eddyville to face the 10th ranked Lyon County Lady Lyons (1-5). Union County will host Hopkins County Central (2-2) Thursday night.
