Trigg County survived a tough four-set match against Todd County Central, winning 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-14 Thursday in Elkton. For the Lady Rebels, it marked the seventh time they had scored 20 points in a set they lost. The second set win was their first of the year.
Trigg County has won three of their last four matches and have now won nine straight matches against Todd County Central dating back to 2012.
Todd County (0-7) will play in the West Creek, TN Coyote Classic this weekend, while Trigg County (3-2) hosts Livingston Central Tuesday in a Fifth District matchup at Wildcat Gym.
