Muki Kunnmann and Tomas Duncan brought home top ten finishes for University Heights Academy Saturday at the Fenton Dawson Invitational Cross Country Meet at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Kunnmann ran a personal best time of 19:37 over the 3.1-mile course to finish behind McCracken County’s Maggie Aydt and Maggie Dowdy who finished 1-2.
Eighth grader Piper Hancock also had a solid finish for UHA, coming across the line in 36th place in a time of 22:24.
In the boys’ race, Duncan finished seventh in a time of 16:19, less than a minute behind race winner Colby Weisman of Apollo (15:32).
Chase Hendricks was the top middle school runner for UHA with a 42nd place finish in a time of 9:36 over the 1.5-mile course. Trey Wyatt finished 92nd in 10:45.
