For the second time in a week, Hopkinsville handed Fort Campbell an Eighth District volleyball setback. The latest came at Tiger Gym Tuesday as the Lady Tigers made quick work of Fort Campbell 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-18). The Lady Falcons scored 42 set points in both matches.
Hopkinsville, who moved up to fourth in this week’s YourSportsEdge.com Second Region Rankings, improved to 4-5 overall and 2-0 in the district. They will host Christian County Thursday in an Eighth District showdown at Tiger Gym. Hoptown beat County in three sets August 26 in the Bluegrass Invitational in a contest that did not count toward the district standings.
Fort Campbell (1-7) travels to Madisonville Thursday.
