Christian County’s John Buchanan and Carson Holmes finished 1-2 in a quad golf match Thursday at Western Hills, helping the Colonels win by 19 shots.
Buchanan shot a 35, with Holmes adding a 39. Houston George shot a 48, and Micah Smith a 49 for the Colonels.
Todd County Central’s Austin Rager paced the Rebels with a 42, good for third place. Nolan Barrow shot a 43, Jace Hampton a 54, and Colin Lyon a 55 for the Rebels.
Sean Baer shot a 43 to lead Logan County, and Daylan Roberts’ 46 paced Russellville.
Christian County (169) beat Logan County (188) by 19 shots, followed by Logan County (194) and Russellville (213).
For the ladies, Jenna Humphries shot a 42 to take medalist honors for Christian County. Bridget Owens continued her fine play of late, shooting a 45 to finish second. Hannah Sumner shot a 51, and Jennalyn Kelly shot a 52.
Logan County, who finished 32 shots behind Christian County, was led by a 52 from Sarah Harris.
