Todd County Central dropped their first set to Russellville Thursday. However, the Lady Rebels rallied to win the final three sets and claim their first win of the season in Elkton. The loss snapped an 11-game losing streak to start this year and 13 overall dating back to last season.
Russellville won the first set 25-14, but the Lady Rebels won the final three by scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-12.
Bailey Conquest had 17 kills, four aces, and three blocks, while Kinley Reding had nine aces and six kills for the Lady Rebels. Seventh grader Lucy Chester had seven kills, Alli Kearns had three kills, and Brylee Shemwell had 25 assists and four kills for the Lady Rebels.
Todd County (1-11) jumps back into district action Tuesday when they travel to Franklin-Simpson (7-7).
