Muki Kunnmann brought home her second consecutive third place finish Saturday at the 52nd Owensboro Cross Country Invitational. The University Heights Academy junior covered the 3.1-mile course in a time of 20:37.
Owensboro’s Breanna Alderton won the race in 18:58, followed by Daviess County’s Emily Roberts (20:33).
Eighth grader Piper Hancock finished in 27th place in a time of 25:10.
In the boys’ varsity race, freshman Tomas Duncan finished in sixth place in a time of 17:32. Keeton Thornsberry of Holy Cross won in 16:02.
In the middle school boys’ race, Chase Hendricks ran a personal best time of 12:04 over the 1.8-mile course to finish in 13th place. Trey Wyatt finished in 59th place.
