Caldwell County scored the final three touchdowns of the game to pick up a 42-28 road win at Henderson County Friday. Tiger quarterback Joby Jaggers connected with Oliver Parker on long touchdown throws of 71, 78, and 43 yards. Jaggers also hit Travis Newsom with a 23-yard scoring pass for the go-ahead touchdown.
Trel Riley had two touchdowns, including a 94-yard kickoff return for a score in the third quarter. It’s the second straight season Caldwell has beaten the Class 6A Colonels.
After a season-opening loss to Christian County, Caldwell County has run off four straight wins and will host Paducah Tilghman next week in Princeton. Tilghman enters the game with a record of 1-4 after a 16-9 loss to Hopkinsville Friday.
