Heritage Christian County claimed a four-set volleyball win over Pleasant View Monday. HCA won the first two sets by scores of 29-27 and 25-15 before dropping the third set 26-24. HCA won the deciding set 25-20.
Allie Maternowski had 27 assists for the Lady Warriors, while Skyler Crisp, Allie Schuckebier, and Anna Waldron each had seven kills.
Coach Eldridge Rogers pointed to the defensive play of Meredith Crunk (24 service returns) and libero Alyvia Stokes as keys in the match.
The HCA JV also won 14-21, 21-7, 15-11.
HCA returns to action Tuesday as they host Lancaster Christian of Smyrna, TN.
