Webster County has alternated wins and losses over their last nine matches, and that trend continued Monday as the Lady Trojans beat University Heights in five sets 25-22, 21-25, 24-26, 25-23, 15-11.
Freshman Evelyn Morales had 13 kills for the Lady Blazers, with Lily Hendricks adding 12 kills and four aces. Naliscya Hall and Aisha Pantierre each had eight kills, and Rachael Snyder had six.
The fifth ranked Lady Trojans (9-5) improved to 2-2 in five-set matches this year, while the seventh ranked Lady Blazers dropped their second five-set match in a week.
The Lady Blazers (4-5) travel to 10th ranked Crittenden County Tuesday.
UHA won the JV match 21-16, 21-9.
