Kylee Knight scored twice to lead Christian County past McLean County 2-0 Tuesday in Calhoun. The win snapped a nine-game Lady Colonel losing streak.
Mackenzie Almy assisted on both goals for the Lady Colonels, and the defensive back of Haley Kumpfmuller, Brianna Igo, Jordan Alder, Markisha Green, and Fiona Knepper coupled with goalie Payton Hale secured the second shutout of the season for Christian County.
The Lady Colonel future looks bright as the JV picked up a 9-0 win.
Christian County (2-10) will host both Logan County and Calloway County Saturday in the Colonel Showcase at the Stadium of Champions.
