The Caldwell County Lady Tigers warmed up for a big 7th District showdown against Madisonville Thursday night by steamrolling another 7th District foe Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers had no trouble dispatching the Hopkins Central Lady Storm, winning in straight sets 25-18, 25-15, and 25-14.
The win was a strong rebound for Caldwell County, who fell over the weekend in the quarterfinals of the All A Classic to Kentucky Country Day.
With the win, the Lady Tigers improve to 13-6 on the season, and get ready to host Madisonville on Thursday night at the CAB. Caldwell County beat the Lady Maroons in a five set thriller back on August 24th in Madisonville.
With the loss, Hopkins Central fell to 8-6 on the season.
