Lady Wildcats Run Unbeaten Streak to 10 Games

Madisen Ireland scored six goals against Crittenden County Thursday -- her second six-goal game of the season.

Trigg County equaled a school record with their 10th straight game without a loss Thursday as they completed a district sweep in a 9-1 win at Crittenden County. Madisen Ireland had six goals for the Lady Wildcats – the second game this year in which she has recorded a double hat trick.

Alyssa Richardson had two goals for Trigg County – her seventh multi-goal game of the season. Libby Redd added a goal, and Richardson and Brittney Kelly each had assists.

Trigg County clinched the number one seed in the district tournament with a 4-0 mark and clinched a spot in the region tournament. The Lady Wildcats are 9-0-1 over their last 10 games, which ties a school record for consecutive games without a loss. The 2011 team also had 10 straight games without a loss.

The Lady Wildcats (9-3-1) will try and set a new mark Saturday when they host Fort Campbell at 10am at the Complex.
