Heritage Christian made up some ground against the team ranked directly ahead of the them in the KCAA Power Poll even though the outcome was a loss. The seventh-ranked Lady Warriors fell 25-21, 25-16 Friday to the sixth-ranked Cougars. When the teams met last month, HCA only managed 24 points in a straight-set loss.
The JV also lost 21-17, 21-15.
Heritage Christian (15-7) returned to action Saturday at Micah Christian in Louisville in their first matchup of the season.
