Despite 10-0 losses to top-ranked Somerset Christian in a two-week period, Heritage Christian Soccer Coach Tony Henson says he can see his team getting better. The latest Warrior loss came Friday in Hopkinsville.
“I don’t think there is anyone in the KCAA that can play with Somerset,” Henson said. “But our ball movement was good in the attack, and our defense was a little better also.”
The Warriors (2-7-1) are right back in action Saturday at Frankfort Christian Academy.
“We really are getting better each game,” Henson said. “Our younger players are really stepping into their roles and getting comfortable.”
