Christian County Rolls To District Win Over Fort Campbell

The Christian County Lady Colonels picked up their second consecutive 8th District win Tuesday night by beating Fort Campbell in straight sets. The Lady Colonels came out of the gate strong and never looked back.

Christian County won the opening set 25-13. In the second set, the Lady Colonels opened with 10 straight points, and cruised to a 25-8 win. Christian County then closed out the match by winning the third set 25-16.

The Lady Colonels got strong performances from Kathryn Buchanan, Ariyonna Johnson, and Kimberly Paumen, in improving their record to 8-14 on the season. Christian County returns to the court Thursday night for another 8th District battle against University Heights. The Lady Blazers won earlier this season in four sets.

With the loss, Fort Campbell falls to 3-19 on the season. The Lady Falcons get back to action Thursday evening when they host Todd County Central.
