Lily Strader and Alli Cundiff each scored two goals as University Heights Academy beat Fort Campbell 4-1 in an Eighth District soccer match on post. The win makes UHA the number one seed in the district tournament where they will likely play Christian County in the first round.
The game was an improvement for the Lady Falcons, who lost 10-0 to the Lady Blazers in the All-A Region Tournament. After that loss, Coach Michele Ellis made some lineup and personnel moves that has seen Fort Campbell win five of their last nine matches.
UHA (9-3) will play at Caldwell County Thursday in a rematch of an All-A quarterfinal contest won by the Lady Blazers 3-2 on August 19.
Fort Campbell (5-9) will host West Creek, TN Thursday.
UHA won the JV game 3-2 behind a hat trick from Kate Cansler.
