It was senior night for Christian County, but it was the underclassmen that did the damage in their 3-2 win over Lyon County Tuesday night at the Stadium of Champions. Kylee Knight scored first on an assist from Lexi Hendrix. Hendrix would add her own score later on an assist from Mackenzie Almy.
Junior Drew Hancock scored what proved to be the game-winner on a penalty kick.
Mia Myers scored both goals for Lyon County (4-10-2), who were 2-1-2 in their last five matches.
Christian County is now 4-11 on the season, having won three of their last four matches. After scoring two goals in their first 11 games, the Lady Colonels have scored six goals in their last four.
Christian County travels to Paducah Tilghman Thursday night, while Lyon County travels to Webster County Monday.
