A Hopkinsville Tiger is among the best soccer players ever in the state of Kentucky at helping his teammates find the net. Tiger senior Ethan Noel recorded his 27th assist of the season in Hoptown’s 5-4 loss to Calloway County Tuesday night.
Noel had 13 assists his freshman year, 32 as a sophomore, and 28 as a junior, giving him 100 for his career. Those assist numbers place him in second place in the KHSAA records for career assists. Noel trails only Micah Linscott, of North Hardin, who had 107 assists in his career, from 2013-2016.
If the Tigers make a long post season run, Noel would have a shot at moving into the top spot in career assists.
