Hopkinsville and Caldwell County came together for Hoptown’s annual Pink Out contest, with Caldwell County winning in four sets 25-12, 25-20, 21-25, 25-11. Caldwell County, ranked second in this week’s YourSportsEdge.com Second Region rankings, scored the first 12 points of the first match and never looked back as they remain unbeaten against region opponents this year.
Hopkinsville got six kills and five blocks from 24 and six more kills from 9.
Caldwell County (16-8) will play at University Heights Tuesday.
Hopkinsville (8-8) will play in the Jefferson County Invitational Tournament this weekend.
