The University Heights Academy volleyball team competed in the Quad State Tournament at McCracken County this weekend, finishing with 2 wins out of 6 matches. The Lady Blazers now stand at 8-11 on the season.
On Friday, UHA began with a 2-0 (25-16, 25-11) win over Miller Career Academy (St. Louis. MO), and followed with a 2-0 (25-17, 25-23) loss to Christian Fellowship (20-5). On Saturday, the Lady Blazers lost 2-0 (25-16, 25-18) to Logan County (15-13), 2-1 (25-17, 16-25, 15-12) to Community Christian (17-8), and 2-1 (21-25, 25-23, 15-13) to Hopkins County Central (13-10), and won 2-1 (25-14, 16-25, 15-11) over Webster County (11-12).
The Lady Blazers return to the court Monday when they host the 3-17 Union County Bravettes.
