
The Christian County Lady Colonels volleyball team has been on a bit of a roll lately, and Saturday, at a quad match at Hancock County, that roll continued. The Lady Colonels won their 5th, 6th, and 7th matches in a row, knocking off Grayson County, Hancock County, and Muhlenberg County.
The Lady Colonels handled Grayson County in straight sets 25-11 and 25-11.
Christian County dropped the first set to Hancock County 25-17, then came charging back to take the match. The Lady Colonels won the second set 25-20, and then rolled in the 3rd set 25-12, to take the match two sets to one.
They finished up the day by sweeping Muhlenberg County 25-21 and 25-22.
Christian County improved to 12-14 on the season, and face a tough trip to Henderson County Monday evening.
