Heritage Christian Academy lost two of three soccer games over the weekend, with the two losses coming to teams ranked in the top five of the KCAA Power Poll.
HCA lost 4-1 to second-ranked Trinity Christian in Lexington Friday. Thomas West had the lone goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors, ranked sixth in this week’s power poll, lost to fourth-ranked Assumption 3-2 on Saturday. West and Lawson Ashby had the goals for HCA.
HCA was able to bounce back with a 9-1 win at Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg Saturday. Clay Bonner scored two goals, and the Warriors got single goals from Kris Ruth, Thomas West, Andrew Gentry, Mikie Venable, Abbi Bullock, Trenton Hayes, and Kameron Cunningham.
Heritage Christian Academy (5-9-1) returns to action Saturday at home against third-ranked Cornerstone Christian.
