The Trigg County boys’ soccer team lost 3-2 on the road at Mayfield (5-12-1) Monday night. The Wildcats have now lost 6 straight and stand at 6-12 on the season.
Both Trigg goals were scored by freshman Will Jolly, with junior Daniel Martin recording an assist. Defenders Carter Boyd and Derek Frazier were both lost to injury and had to leave the site to receive treatment. Sophomore goalkeeper Matthew Smith had one save for the Wildcats.
Trigg County hosts Hopkinsville (12-4-1) at the Recreation Complex on Tuesday.
