The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers kicked off the final two weeks of the volleyball season picking up a big inter-regional win over Daviess County. The Lady Tigers were able to dispatch the Lady Panthers 3 sets to 1, for the Senior Night win.
Hopkinsville got the evening off to a good start with a 25-18 win. Daviess County came storming back to take the second set 25-12. Hopkinsville then claimed the match by winning the third set 25-19, and the fourth set 25-15.
The win improves Hopkinsville to 11-11 on the season. The Lady Tigers are on the road Tuesday night for a big regional matchup against Madisonville.
Karalyn Beymer had 10 kills for Hoptown, while Hope Pace and Zakyra Stallowrth both had seven kills. Sarah Cavanah had 10 assists and six kills. Chella Bell had six kills, and Kelsey Mata offered up five aces.
Hopkinsville returns to the court at Madisonville on Tuesday.
