The Lyon County girls’ soccer team picked up its first shutout of the season, blanking the visiting Ballard Memorial Lady Bombers 2-0. The Lady Lyons snap a 3 game losing and 5 game winless streak.
Junior forward Alexis Pinnegar and freshman Destiny Dycus scored the goals for the Lady Lyons, while junior forward Mia Myers added an assist.
Lyon County moves to 5-11-2 on the year and wrap up the regular season when it hosts Union County (9-5-1) on Thursday.
