Critters of different kinds have resulted in a day and location change for a key district football game for the Todd County Central Rebels. According to information from beechtreenews.com, problems with skunks, moles, and grub worms, led school officials to move the final two home games of the season for the Butler County Bears.
Butler County is scheduled to host Todd County on October 20 and Ohio County on October 27. The Todd County game will now be played October 19 at Warren East. The game with Ohio County has been moved to Ohio County’s stadium.
Butler County school officials say the combination of the moles, as many as ten skuns, and grubs, have damaged the field, making it unsafe to play football.
The football game with Todd County could be for the #4 seed in the district in the football playoffs.
