Caldwell County advanced to the championship of the Toyota of Hopkinsville Western Kentucky Smackdown, falling to Logan County 25-22, 25-20 in the final game.
Caldwell breezed through pool play, beating Ballard Memorial, Todd County Central, and University Heights Academy in straight sets.
Caldwell beat Hopkinsville in the Gold Bracket semifinals before falling to Logan County in the title match.
The Lady Tigers (24-9) will play in the championship match of the Seventh District Tournament against either Hopkins County Central or Madisonville Thursday at Hopkins County Central High School.
