A tough end to the 2017 soccer season Monday night for the Todd County Central Lady Rebels. The Lady Rebels ran into a Lady Gators team that was in a foul mood after being upended in the district tournament and quickly took it out on Todd Central.
Greenwood scored ten goals in the first 37 minutes of the match, resulting in the contest ending at halftime due to the mercy rule, at a score of 10-0. Greenwood sophomore Anna Haddock scored five goals to lead the Lady Gators, who move on to take on Barren County in the 4th Region semifinals. The win marked the third year in a row that Greenwood has ended Todd Central’s season.
Todd County Central, the 13th District champions, end the season at 10-6-2.
