Trigg County’s girls’ soccer season came to an end Wednesday night with a 2-0 loss to Caldwell County in the semifinals of the region tournament. Trigg’s 12 wins are the most in six seasons, and the Lady Wildcats scored 100 goals in a season for the first time in program history. Coach Matt Harper is pleased with the strides his team made during the season leading up to a district title and region semifinal appearance.
