Former Trigg County standout Jayven Jones ran for a season-high 107 yards and a touchdown to help Lindsey Wilson beat Bethel 35-18 Saturday in McKenzie, TN.
The 100-yard game is the second of Jones’ career. His 11-yard touchdown run in the third quarter staked the Blue Raiders to a 35-10 lead.
For the season, Jones has rushed 290 yards and three touchdowns and has hauled in six catches for 112 yards and a score.
Lindsey Wilson moved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference. The Blue Raiders are ranked fifth in this week’s NAIA Poll and will host unbeaten and No. 9 Georgetown Saturday in Columbia.
