
The Caldwell County boys’ soccer team had an up and down 2017 season that included winning 5 of their last 7 matches in route to a 9-10-1 record. The Tigers scored 48 goals and conceded 83, while posting their second straight losing record. They lost the 7th District championship match to Madisonville-North Hopkins, and have not won a district title since 2009. The Tigers ended their season with an 11-1 loss to Hopkinsville in the first round of the 2nd Region tournament.
The Tigers graduate 5 seniors, including defensive standout Boyce Nichols and leading scorer Mitchell Scott (32 goals). Returning for the Tigers are junior assist leader Collin Shaffer (8 assists) and standout junior goalkeeper Barett Schultz.
