Logan County Hosting Third Playoff Game Ever Friday

For only the third time in school history, Logan County will host a football playoff game Friday when the Cougars host Warren Central at Cougar Field.

The 10-0 Cougars will face a Warren Central team that is 0-10 and has failed to score in five of their games and have dropped 21 straight contests. However, the beat Logan County 53-8 in their last matchup in 2014.

Logan County hosted Fort Campbell in the first round of both the 1988 and 1989 Class 2A playoffs at Rhea Stadium, with the Falcons winning both games by scores of 34-3 and 18-0. Friday’s first round game will be the first postseason game played at Logan County’s Cougar Field.

The start time for Friday’s game will be 7pm.
