Christian County lineman Payton Leneave thought his senior season was over in the first game when he injured his knee in the Colonels’ win over Caldwell County. Leneave was diagnosed with a tear of the ACL and was out of action for several weeks. However, Leneave decided to grit out the injury and returned to action two weeks ago, helping shore up a Colonel defensive line that comes into the postseason giving up just 13 points a game.
