After dominating western Kentucky golf for several years, Cullan Brown will now try to dominate another part of the Bluegrass State. The Lyon County senior signed his letter of intent to play golf at the University of Kentucky Thursday.
Brown is the three-time Region 1 winner and won the state tournament as a junior. He finished second as both a sophomore and senior at the state tourney.
He spent his senior season playing in several events nationwide before competing in the events necessary to compete in the region tourney. As a result, he didn’t amass enough All-State points to contend for the title of Mr. Golf. He was named second team All-State.
