Since they moved up to Class 3A in 2015, the Caldwell County Tigers have been to the regional final. They have also met the same opponent in that contest each year, seeing their season come to an end against Coach Mark Brown and his Elizabethtown Panthers. Tiger head coach David Barnes says the Panthers once again will pose a big challenge, but that he would really like to put past history aside, and in 2017 just go out and “win the thing.”
