Hopkinsville freshman Chase Atkins was named to the All-Area 1 Second Team by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Thursday. Atkins was the third fastest freshman at the Class 3A State Meet after finishing 73rd. He was also named to the Class 3A All-Area First Team.
Also, senior Meghan Easton was named to the Class 3A All-Area Second Team for all classes and the All-Area Second Team for Class 3A runners. Easton wrapped up her career by running in four state meets and finishing 127th at the State Meet.
