Seven Wildcats Named All-WKC

Seven Trigg County football players have been named to the All-Western Kentucky Conference Football Team based on their play during the season. Players recognized were:

– Senior linebacker Zack McIntosh, who had 32 tackles and a fumble recovery. He also caught 13 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown.

– Senior linebacker Tyson Bush, who led the Wildcats in tackles with 127 including 29 solo tackles. He also had two interceptions and a fumble recovery.

– Senior lineman Darrin Brown, who led Wildcat defensive linemen with 66 tackles. He also had a fumble recovery and was the starting center on offense.

– Sophomore running back Tayshaun Barker, who had 378 rushing yards and five touchdowns. On defense, Barker had 65 tackles, including 18 solo tackles.

– Sophomore quarterback Cam Jordan, who completed 96-of-183 passes for 1,035 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was also Trigg’s leading rusher with 517 yards and nine touchdowns.

– Junior defensive back Riley Stallons, who intercepted seven passes which was second most in a season in Trigg history. He also had 74 tackles including 32 solo tackles.

– Junior defensive back Kyron Grubbs, who had two interceptions and 27 tackles. On offense, Grubbs caught 26 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns.
